1. Use of the Service
Shortix provides URL shortening, QR code generation, and client-side image conversion tools. You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Service to:
- Shorten URLs that link to malware, phishing sites, illegal content, or content that violates third-party rights
- Distribute spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive links
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
- Use automated tools to generate links in bulk without prior written consent
- Impersonate another person or entity
2. Guest Access
Guests (non-registered users) may use the Service for a limited number of operations before being required to create a free account. Creating an account is free and requires only an email address and password.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support.shortix@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised. 4. Content and Links
You are solely responsible for the URLs you shorten and the destinations they point to. Shortix does not review or endorse the content of external URLs. We reserve the right to disable any short link at our discretion, particularly if it is reported as harmful or violates these Terms.
5. Image Conversion
Image conversion is performed entirely in your browser. Shortix does not receive, store, or process your image files on our servers. You retain full ownership of all images you convert.
6. Intellectual Property
The Shortix name, logo, and website design are the property of Shortix. You may not reproduce or use these without prior written permission. The open-source libraries used by Shortix are subject to their respective licenses.
7. Availability
We strive to keep Shortix available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any damages resulting from Service unavailability.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at any particular time.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shortix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.
